Back at the hotel, I couldn’t contain my smile as I looked through the pictures I had taken with New Edition. I was beaming in every single one of them. Earlier, I had placed them on my Instagram and Facebook pages. I had also put out the live videos of me singing and dancing next to Noah on my page. Everyone was commenting and liking my pictures.

“You’re not sleepy yet?”

My eyes shifted to his as he walked into our living room suite. The only thing he had on was some basketball shorts and a t-shirt.

I noticed his dick print through his shorts and reminded myself friends didn’t gaze at friend’s dick prints.

They do when they are horny and about to break this friendship status.

“No, I’m still pretty amped from tonight. You’re not sleepy?” I asked him, still keeping my eyes above his waist.

Noah plopped down next to me without leaving any space between us. “I can’t go to sleep until you go to sleep.”

“Really?”

“Yes. You and I have been putting each other to sleep for a while now.”

He was right. We talked on the phone constantly. Hearing his voice until I fell asleep helped alleviate the quietness of my house. When Latham first left, I suffered from insomnia. Falling asleep without his body next to mine had been difficult. I heard every sound in the house which made it even harder to doze off. Noah had given me the security I needed to fall asleep.

Since I moved into my house, everything about us had changed. The friendship I was trying so desperately to convince myself we had was steadily becoming hard to uphold.

Even when I kept telling myself he couldn’t want a pregnant woman, he kept doing things to make me out a lie.

Every day, I waited on him to say the words. I didn’t want to make any assumptions about us. I needed him to speak up, so I didn’t look like a fool. Kay and I could both be wrong about how he felt about me.

“What’s the plan for the rest of the weekend? You can’t top what you’ve already done, so what now?” I asked him.

“We hang out. We drink, eat, and be merry. And, you already know, it’s your world.”

I smiled. Noah was spoiling me, and it made me feel good. What pregnant woman didn’t want to be spoiled? He had made these past few months bearable. There was no way I could express to him how glad he made my heart.

“Let’s go lay down. I think I’m getting tired.” I yawned. The excitement from the concert was finally wearing off.

Noah stood to his feet and reached down for me. He helped me to my feet and pulled me into his body. I couldn’t help but wrap my arms around his waist. I laid my head on his chest. His natural scent wafted into my nose. Over the last few weeks, I had become accustomed to every cologne he wore. All of them were expensive and alluring to me.
